Freeform on Thursday announced the premiere dates for its summer lineup during its 2016 Upfront presentation, including the series premiere date for the highly-anticipated new series Dead of Summer!
The series is set to launch on Tuesday, June 28, at 9pm, leading out of Pretty Little Liars, which will be then airing its seventh season.
Along with the premiere date announcements, the network (formerly ABC Family) has released the official logo for the series (above), as well as the first official photo from the series’ pilot, titled “Like a Prayer,” which you can check out below.

Set in the late 1980s, school is out for the summer and a sun-drenched season of firsts beckons the counselors at Camp Stillwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, including first loves, first kisses—and first kills. Stillwater’s dark, ancient mythology awakens, and what was supposed to be a summer of fun soon turns into one of unforgettable scares and evil at every turn.
The series also stars Elizabeth Mitchell (“Lost,” ”The Purge: Election Year”), Zelda Williams (“Teen Wolf”), Mark Indelicato (“Ugly Betty”), Alberto Frezza (“Charlie’s Angels”) and Eli Goree (“The 100”).
