FOX’s “Lucifer” Cast Tease “Heart-Wrenching” & “Unexpected” Finale

The sophomore season of FOX’s devilish drama Lucifer comes to a close tonight. But not to worry — the series will return for an expanded third season later this fall!

OMFGTV had the opportunity to speak with several cast members of the show earlier this year, and while chatting it up with them, got to tease what viewiers can expect for the Season 2 finale, titled, “The Good, the Bad, and the Crispy.”

Throughout the series, we’ve seen the budding friendship between Mazikeen and Linda grow into something special. Mazikeen’s protrayer, Lesley-Ann Brandt, says there will be “some real heavy stuff” between the two women in the Lucifer season ender.

“Some really heart-wrenching stuff,” Lesley-Ann explains, which she says, “was so much fun to play.”

“There are some gut-wrenching layers in one of the scenes that are unexpected,” she continues, “and I think you see really how deep the affection of [Linda] goes.”

Brandt reveals that this scene was her favorite of the season, not surprisingly, her scene partner Rachael Harris echoes the sentiment.

“We’re there for each other,” Harris says of their characters. “Like I’m there for another character in a weird way, but for all of us, and she’s there for me really in a special way, That’s a really big scene.”

Finally, Kevin Alejandro (Dan) reveals that in the finale, ” you’ll enter into a world that you don’t expect.”

“Your socks will be blown off,” he promises. “It’s amazing.”

Lucifer airs tonight at 9pm on FOX.
