This summer, you’re invited to Portorosso.

Disney & Pixar have released a “Friendship Featurette” for its upcoming animated film, Luca. Just like Pixar’s two previous films — “Onward” and most recently “Soul” — Luca is set to debut on Disney’s streaming service, Disney+. At this time, it doesn’t appear the release will require “Premiere Access,” which requires an additional $30 fee.

“I really loved watching the friendship between Luca, Giulia and Alberto,” says Jacob Tremblay in the featurette. “I’m hoping that it will bring back a lot of memories for people of summers when they were kids.”

Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.

The film stars Jacob Tremblay (“Good Boys”) as Luca, Jack Dylan Grazer (“IT”) as Alberto, and Emma Berman as Giulia.

Directed by Academy Award® nominee Enrico Casarosa (“La Luna”) and produced by Andrea Warren (“Lava,” “Cars 3”), “Luca” releases June 18 on Disney+.
