THE PROPOSAL | It’s time for Alejandro Rubio’s (Matt Cadeno) team to do damage control following the story that his ex-boyfriend Scott (Peter Porte) leaked to the press outing the singer. His team comes up with fool-proof plan to make all those “rumors” go away by having Alejandro marry a beautiful woman, whose role he thinks should be filled by his maid, Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez). They tell Carmen of their proposal of a proposal and if she agrees to marry Alejandro, they will make her famous and producer her album, go on a tour, etc. Then after two years, she can end the marriage. She’s not too receptive of the idea as she had just agreed to move in with her boyfriend Sam (Wole Parks). But this is an offer she absolutely cannot refuse.
TELEF-OH-NO | Rosie (Dania Ramirez) is still upset that Spence (Grant Show) tried to derail the arrival of her son Miguel to the united states. When Spence surprises her with the news that he wants to adopt her son, her feelings toward him are suddenly changed. They both confess their love for each other in the bedroom. Meanwhile, Peri (Mariana Klaveno) calls Rosie’s phone from work and when Miguel brings the phone to his mother, she overhears her husband and Rosie talking about how much in love they are.
THE HELP | Marisol (Ana Ortiz) finally comes clean to Zoila (Judy Reyes), Carmen, and Rosie about her true identity. She suspects that Philipe Delatour (Stephen Collins) is the true murderer of Flora Hernandez (Paula Garces) and requests their help to help prove that he’s guilty. They all come up with a brilliant and elaborate plan to lure Philipe upstairs during his engagement party and to have him admit his crime to Marisol while Rosie secretly videotapes the entire confession from behind the 2-way mirror. Their plans are thwarted, however, when Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) has Marisol escorted out of the party. Not to worry though, because Adrian (Tom Irwin) and Evelyn have come up with a plan of their own which they enact immediately after Marisol’s failed attempt. Adrian invites Philipe for a drink which has been laced and with Rebecca in the room to witness the entire thing, Adrian throws Mr. Delatour over the balcony and into the pool below where he died instantly. Later, a couple detectives try to get the whole story and the Powell’s tell them that Philipe had confessed to the murder of Flora before killing himself. When asked if there were any other witnesses to help corroborate the story, Carmen, Zoila and Rosie jump in to confirm the story. All is well and Eddie (Eddie Hassell) has been exonerated!
