Debris is on its way to finally providing viewers with the answers they’ve been hunting for in “Spaceman.” In this thrilling hour, Bryan faces a personal crisis when Maddox gives him a questionable order regarding George Jones, while Finola’s trust of Ferris runs thin.
Finding George | A woman wearing little clothes is running through a factory when she gets found by two sketchy guys who chase after her. She hides in a body bag, which there are plenty of in the factory, but gets spotted and ends up phasing the bag through one of the guys, killing him and allowing her to escape.
At Orbital HQ, Maddox (Norbert Leo Butz) briefs Bryan (Jonathan Tucker) and Finola (Riann Steele) on a raid at the location in Washington they got from Ash’s (Scroobius Pip) memories, where they believe George (Tyrone Benskin) is hiding. Ferris (Anjali Jay) calls Finola and informs her that she has an MI6 agent in place to extract George to the UK after the raid, but Maddox orders Bryan to kill George on site and make sure Finola doesn’t join the raid.
Questioning Orders | Bryan and Finola inform each other of the plans and agree to find a way to save George. On route to the location, they find the woman in the middle of the road and she turns invisible to hide from them. They find her with a piece of Debris implanted under her neck, but she can’t remember who she is, though she does recognize a picture of Ash. Elsewhere, Ferris calls a guy named Brill (Sebastian Roche) to prepare to pick up George, but Brill goes into a trailer and removes the skin off the face of a guy who looks just like him and applies the skin to his own face.
Bryan, Finola and their team find a secret entrance to a lab with handwriting on a chalkboard that Finola recognizes as George’s. They find a group of people tied to tables and free them, while Finola finds George hiding under a desk. One of Maddox’s agents tries to shoot George, but Bryan kills him and gets Finola and George out of the lab, scrubs the security footage and tells Maddox that George was never there.
With Answers Come Questions | Finola gets a call from DeeDee who tells her how Ferris forced her to make the phone call to get her to come back to the UK. Realizing that neither Ferris nor Maddox can be trusted, Bryan and Finola take George to a motel, where he reveals that Influx implanted a piece of Debris into his skull to reanimate him.
His memory is spotty as a result, but he knows that Influx needed him to build a machine to track a specific piece of Debris, but he can’t remember what it does. Bryan and Finola hatch a plan to get files on George’s work from a facility in Idaho and to that end, Finola calls Ferris to inform her of George’s survival and that she’ll only get her the information she needs if Ferris gets the files for them.
