On this week’s episode of “Deadly Class,” “Stigmata Martyr” picks up one month after the events of the last episode, where Maria threatens to break after having killed Chico, while Marcus struggles to keep her under control. Master Lin faces a challenge to his regime, while Chester plots to get even with Marcus.
Ladies Fight Night | One month after the Vegas fiasco, Lin’s mysterious master turns out to be his sister, Gao, who is interrogating the student body trying to find out where Chico is. Naturally, Maria is feeling incredibly guilty, especially after the cartel assigns her to find out where he is. But life goes on in King’s Dominion, as Brandy, Maria and Saya are ambushed by ninjas as part of Master Zane’s combat class. Zane flunks Brandy for being, and I quote, “a piece of shit,” but Gao demands that Zane aces Brandy and flunks Saya, going so far as to break Saya’s arm when she protests.

Locker Room Talk | While Willie flirts with a girl named Gabrielle at a comic book store, Saya discovers that since she’s been secretly dating Marcus, Maria has stopped taking her medication. Elsewhere, Marcus walks in on Viktor assaulting Shad in the mens’ locker room and accuses Viktor of getting turned on by the experience. As everyone drinks their troubles away on the rooftop, Maria joins in and acts crazy before Saya shoos her away.
The Soul of the Devil | As Maria cries in her bedroom, we get her comic book backstory- and it’s the most brutal one yet: As a child, Maria’s family, including her pregnant mother, was murdered by a cartel and a young Chico suggested sparing her as her father’s dying words to her was to do what they say. To make matters worse, just as Saya tells Marcus that Maria is bipolar, Maria herself spots Saya and Marucs together and assumes the worst. Marcus confronts her and Maria tearfully kisses Marcus and he gives in and they have sex on the roof in the least romantic sex scene ever.
The next day, Gao storms into Zane’s class after he still hasn’t changed Brandy’s grade. She orders Brandy to carve an A into his forehead, which she happily obliges, which doesn’t sit well with Lin, who we discover has his supposedly dead wife and daughter living above the school. Marcus gets a call on the school’s phone from Chester, who reveals that he has Chico’s severed head and will tell everyone that Maria killed him if Marcus doesn’t reveal that he didn’t burn down the boys home.
