The CW has released the first teaser for “Supergirl’s” return in January.
The episode, entitled “Supergirl Lives” is directed by Kevin Smith, of “Clerks” and “Chasing Amy” fame and features Supergirl bleeding on an alien planet while also dealing with the return of Roulette (Dichen Lachmann)
Smith, a diehard comic book fan, has also directed episodes of “The Flash.” His latest film, “Yoga Hosers,” stars his daughter Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp.
“Supergirl” returns on January 23, 2017.
