Archie & Ms. Grundy, Betty’s Alter Ego, Ronnie and the Pussycats & More OMFG Moments from “Riverdale” Season 1!
The CW’s Riverdale quickly became one of our favorite new shows of 2017. The characters, the drama, the sexiness, and so much more made it an instant obsession for us at OMFGTV.

HOT FOR TEACHER | Archie (K.J. Apa) spent his summer in a scandalous, taboo relationship with his teacher, Ms. Grundy (Sarah Habel). When Reggie (Ross Butler) asked if Archie hooked up with some cougars, little did he know the woman Archie has been seeing has been teaching in the very same building were they are attending school.
MISSING BAG | Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols) gets a big surprise when a “missing” bag is returned to her. Upon opening it, she discovers what has to be hundreds of thousands of dollars at the least. “Oh, Hiram. What have you done?”
IN THE CLOSET | Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) entertains the idea of the old-school game “Seven Minutes in Heaven.” When Veronica (Camila Mendes) is the one chosen to spend time in the closet with the “Ginger Stallion,” surely she wouldn’t put the moves on the one who Betty (Lili Reinhart) is in love with, right? “We shouldn’t do this,” they tell each other. But they do!
PEEP SHOW | Archie & Ms. Grundy have manged to keep their secret relationship just that — until now. Why they freely show affection toward each other in school grounds without fear of being caught is beyond me. While Ms. Grundy assures Archie that their relationship is real, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) catches them during their intimate moment.

SLEEPOVER! | It was supposed to be a fun night, until Cheryl kept pestering Betty with questions about Polly and Jason. When the blond questioned the redhead why, the Blossom revealed her true agenda. “Because, you dumb cow. Someone shot my brother and I think it was your crazy, tweaked-out sister.” A furious Betty then delivered a chilling threat: “Cheryl, get the hell out of my house before I kill you!”
KNOCKOUT | Fred (Luke Perry) comes home to find his son nursing a shiner. “I hate to ask this, but dd you get that in a fight with Jughead?” he asks Archie. Not sure why, but this question made us laugh out loud. We find out later in the season that Juggie actually has a mean right hook!
BYE BYE, BETTY | If the first two episodes didn’t suck you into the show already, then this whole scene will do it for you. Not only does Veronica greet Chuck in a super sexy outfit, but innocent Betty shocks us all by donning a short black wig, blood-red lipstick and a hot number that stuns both Chuck and Veronica. The slo-mo strut reveal to Kiiara’s Gold is giving us life! “Betty couldn’t make it. So she sent me instead.”
BREAK-IN BETTY | Betty never fails to surprise us. So when she whips out a slim jim out of her bag to break into Ms. Grundy’s car, and does it successfully, yeah, we were shocked! She picked up this skill while fixing cars with her dad. Picking a lock, on the other hand, “Ms. Gyver” says she learned from the Nancy Drew Detectives Handbook!
