The Most OMFG Moments of “The Originals” Season 3

Any season of “The Originals” is full of shocking and controversial moments. But season 3 was SO full of these scenes that fans are still reeling. Here’s a breakdown of the most OMFG scenes from the latest season.

SPOILER ALERT

ELIJAH DAGGERS REBEKAH “Savior” | Poor Rebekah just can’t catch a break. Not just one episode after her triumphant return for a lovely family Christmas, she is daggered by Elijah to save her from going insane from a hex. Add to that Elijah’s horrified reaction as he is forced to hurt his own sister. Yikes.

KOL KILLS DAVINA “No More Heartbreaks” | Kol and Davina on all outward appearances seemed like a perfect couple. However, true happiness for these two was not to be, as a hexed Kol killed her in cold blood in the climax of the episode.

KLAUS LOSES HIS SIRE LINE “A Streetcar Named Desire” | The epic showdown between the Mikaelsons and the Strix ended with the bad guys partially succeeding in taking down Klaus’s link to his sire line, leaving the most powerful being in New Orleans at his most vulnerable.

JACKSON’S DEATH “A Ghost Along the Mississippi” | Though predicted by many fans who were shipping Hayley and Elijah, Jackson’s bloody and gruesome death at the hands of Tristan was no less shocking and heartbreaking, especially after Phoebe Tonkin’s season-best performance.

CAMI SNAPS- “Wild At Heart” | Cami O’Connell has always been the rock of these crazy characters. So to see her finally succumb to her inner darkness as a vampire, not to mention betray the Mikaelsons by stealing a white oak figure was one of the most WTF scenes of the season.

THE SEASON FINALE- “The Bloody Crown” | This entire episode was filled with WTF and OMFG. Marcel finally bests the Mikaelsons by biting Kol and Elijah, seemingly dooming them to death, and punishing Klaus by shoving a magic blade in him. How season 4 will get out of this one, we’ll have to wait and see.

CAMI’S DEATH (BOTH OF THEM)- “Savior”/”No More Heartbreaks” | As stated, Cami has been an emotional anchor for the entire series. So it’s the biggest WTF of all when she dies not once, but twice in one season. While “No More Heartbreaks” sent her off in a more emotional way, nothing could beat the heart-stopping cliffhanger of her bloody corpse in Klaus’s arms in the finale of “Savior.”
