“May we meet again.”

Parting words from The 100‘s Clarke Griffin as she left Bellamy, her friends, and the rest of Camp Jaha. “Where you gonna go?” he asked her. “I don’t know,” she replied. That was the end of Season 2.

In an interview with OMFGTV and several other outlets, Eliza Taylor explains that “it was very un-Clarke-like to abandon her people. It was kind of a selfish move. I think she’ll make her way back. When that is, I don’t know.”

100-eliza-taylor-season-3Heading into Season 3, Taylor reveals that three months will have passed, Clarke will be in “full survivor mode” and is “going to be getting pretty crazy in the woods” by herself. A welcome change for the actress who says she spent almost the whole of last season in tears.

“I cried a lot in season 2, like a lot, like nearly every episode,” she recalls. “I’d like to see her get tougher and more bad-ass.”

“I’d like to see her kind of lose her mind a little bit,” Taylor adds. “I think that would be really fun to play.”

As for whether or not we’ll see more of Clarke’s dark side, she says that there’s definitely a big possibility. “You don’t think that she could get darker,” she says, “but I think she will.”

A new side fans got to see last season was her relationship with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and the surprise kiss that turned pretty much everyone into “Clexa” shippers.

Eliza says that in the upcoming season, she would “really like to see her find Lexa, because she has some unresolved issues there.”

When asked, she said Season 3 will “definitely” explore more of Clarke’s sexuality.

“It’s so cool to be representing,” she tells us. “The great thing about our show is that it’s set so far in the future that there’s no labels. It’s people loving people. It’s the way it should be now. It’s really fun and an honor to be playing that.”

The 100 Season 3 premieres Thursday, January 21, at 9pm on The CW.
