PopWire launched in Spring of 2021. Formerly OMFGTV, PopWire was started in order for our outlet to cover more than just television.
We strive to cover some of the best in pop culture, including what’s hot in TV, movies, music, and what’s going on with some of our favorite celebrities.
Our coverage includes news, recaps, reviews, interviews and set visits on some of our favorite TV shows. We plan to expand our coverage on other forms of entertainment as well.
The Team
Rowell E. @ (He/Him) | Rowell was born and raised on Maui, Hawai’i, and now lives in the almost-as-green Pacific Northwest. He’s obsessed with Cirque du Soleil, loves teen dramas (especially those with a supernatural element) and horror movies, and is addicted to sushi. Prior to PopWire, he created individual fan sites for the shows Friends, Hellcats, Nikita and others, which led to creating and working on OMFGTV.
Bradley B. @ (He/Him) | A native of Boise, Idaho, Bradley is a hardcore entertainment junkie whose interest span many different genres. Favorite shows include: The Originals, Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Silicon Valley and Powers.
Christina B. @ (She/They) | Christina is a SoCal native who enjoys spending her spare time catching up on all of her favorite television shows, especially those with badass female leads. Favorite shows include: Wynonna Earp, The 100, Quantico, The Shannara Chronicles, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and countless others.
Dani I. @ (She/Her) | Dani grew up on the West Coast in sunny California. With a passion for film and television, she’s always on the hunt for binge-worthy flicks with diversity and positive representation of Womxn, the LGBTQIAN+ community, and other marginalized groups. Favorite genres include supernatural dramas, sci-fi, fantasy, horror and magical realism. Dani’s current favorite shows are Motherland: Fort Salem, Killing Eve, Dickinson, and Euphoria.
Tyler K. (He/Him) | Tyler hails from Las Vegas, NV and works full time as a receptionist at a law firm. When he’s not working, he enjoys going to the movies, attending concerts, and reading young adult fiction. Tyler also loves dabbling in video editing. His software of choice is Final Cut Pro. He’s a reality TV show junkie and some of his favorites include The Kardashians and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Morgan D. (She/Her) | Morgan is a proud New Yorker who loves going to conventions and musicals. She’s attended nearly every single fan convention for The Vampire Diaries, Motherland: Fort salem, and Once Upon a Time, to name a few. She regularly frequents musicals with her favorites being Wicked, The Lion King, and Waitress. She’s a Shondaland fanatic, and her favorite shows include Shonda’s Grey’s Anatomy, Bridgerton, Station 19, Scandal, and Inventing Anna.
