In “Cloak & Dagger’s” latest episode, “Funhouse Mirrors,” Tandy tries to get closer to Mina Hess to find out more about the explosion that Nathan was blamed for. Tyrone uses his friend’s dark dealings to his own agenda.
Don’t Play with Fire | In a maddening subplot, Evita and her mother are reading tarot cards because her mom has a “feeling” that something bad will happen. They read cards for what feels like seven hours and even Evita has no idea where this is going. Until her mom says that one of the “divine pairing” will die. That was a long way for foreshadowing.
Tyrone asks his pal Dwayne, who is working with Connors, to let him into his operation. When Dwayne says no, Tyrone follows one of his dealers and gets a gun pointed in his face as a result. Meanwhile, O’Reilly decides to work with Connors to track down the drug supply of New Orleans. Why do people keep trusting this guy? He has a scar on his face and even other cops are saying he’s dirty! Bad news!

Cutting Corners | Tandy’s phenomenal luck with getting jobs to infiltrate Roxxon continues as she instantly gets a job as Mina Hess’s intern, albeit wearing Clark Kent glasses to disguise herself. Mina tells Tandy that she’s working on a cleaner oil rig that will harvest some new fuel source which may have caused the last rig to explode. But at the end of the day, Mina reveals that she’s deduced that Tandy is Nathan Bowen’s daughter.
Natural Cycles | Tyrone confronts Dwayne about his illegal operations and Dwayne reveals that he knows Connors killed Billy, but is staying quiet to stay alive. Just then, Connors and O’Reilly arrive, but Connors comes in first and tells Dwayne to shoot O’Reilly when she walks in. When she does, O’Reilly’s trigger finger goes into overdrive and she shoots Dwayne, much to Tyrone’s horror. Oddly, O’Reilly doesn’t seem to care much!
Tandy follows Mina to the hospital where her seemingly braindead father is big kept. Tandy touches Mina’s father and sees a closed door with black smoke around it that she can’t touch. When she goes back to the church, Tyrone teleports there after nearly getting shot by Connors and bursts into tears.
