The CW’s Gossip Girl ended its six-season run Monday night and now the network plans to fill that void with its new series, The Carrie Diaries.
The new mid-season entry, Diaries, is based on the prequel to the Sex and the City series and stars AnnaSophia Robb as the titular Carrie Bradshaw.
Now that we are less than a month away from when this Manhattan love story makes its premiere, promotion for the show is now in full swing.
In the new sneak peek below for The Carrie Diaries, Carrie’s dreams come true as she makes her way to Manhattan with an internship at a law firm. The footage on this sneak peek shows much of the same as the first previews for the show, and includes a few other new never-before-seen moments including a flustered Carrie getting knocked over on the street.
The Carrie Diaries bows Monday, January 14th, at 8|7c on The CW.
