You’ve heard of McSteamy and Sexy/Smoldering, but when The CW’s new high-speed drama, The Flash premieres this fall, viewers will be introduced to another character whose moniker precedes him.
Detective Eddie Thawn (Rick Cosnett, “The Vampire Diaries“) has been dubbed in the precinct as “Detective Pretty Boy,” and at least one of the show’s cast members is in absolute agreement with it.

“It’s fair,” Candice Patton says. “I mean, Rick Cosnett is very pretty.” Though he may be pretty on the outside, Patton says that on the inside, it’s a different story. “He’s a little full of himself, a little over confident about his abilities. He can probably back it up, but I think it rubs people the wrong way.”
And who doesn’t love a bad boy with a pretty face? As Patton puts it, “those are the guys you kind of fall for.”
The Flash airs Tuesdays this fall on The CW.
