Bridgit Mendler Talks NBC’s “Undateable” Live Show
The stars of NBC’s sophomore series Undateable are heading into unknown territory, when their show goes LIVE tonight on NBC.
The Bill Lawrence comedy, which centers around mismatched roommates and their group of oddball friends, will be performed twice, so both the East Coast and West Coast audiences will see a different live version.
One of the series’ stars, Bridgit Mendler, gushed about how thrilled she is about the live format and all the unexpected shenanigans that will inevitably happen.
“I feel excited because I feel like I’m going to be watching a lot of disaster happen,” Mendler says. “As the ladies of the set, we’ll probably just be observing and enjoying all the havoc that happens.”
“We’re all excited to do something we haven’t done before,” she continues, “excited by the challenge, and the possibility of what could happen.”
“I know weird stuff is going to happen. Weird things are going to go down. Not sure what that means, but hopefully I can seize the day and do something exciting.”
Guest stars for the one-hour live episode include Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, Christa Miller, Kate Walsh, Minnie Driver, Victoria Justice, Dr. Drew, plus a superstar surprise musical guest.
Tune in for the live episode of Undateable tonight at 9pm on NBC.
