Bravo Orders Three New Scripted Series

bravo-logoBravo TV is embracing scripted television and has ordered three new projects which are currently in development.

The network’s first original scripted series, “Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce,” received a second season order, whose production will begin early this summer. Additionally, Bravo’s first half-hour scripted comedy series, “Odd Mom Out,” will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Monday, June 8 at 10pm.

“We’re thrilled with the success of ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,’ and excited for Bravo audiences to fall in love with our first comedy, ‘Odd Mom Out,’ said Lara Spotts, Senior Vice President, Development. “As we look to expand our scripted slate we’re eagerly taking on new territories, from fashion to finance to female con-artists, and obviously jumped at the opportunity to continue our relationship with Paul Adelstein and Adam Brooks who have a proven track record with the network.”

Below are the titles and descriptions of Bravo’s three new series.

My So Called Wife
A dark comedy following a female con-artist who gets men to fall in love with her, marries them and then disappears with their money and just enough dirty inside information to guarantee they will never go to the police. But things get complicated when she falls in love with her latest mark, and three of her last victims join together to track her down.

White Collar Wives
As Bastion Capital, one of the most successful hedge funds in New York City, begins to crumble from rumors of insider trading, the women married to the financial elite will do anything to save themselves. A FBI investigation sets into motion a series of events that leads one woman to prison, a best friend to commit the ultimate betrayal and an unexpected death.

All that Glitters
A mini-series based on the book “Newhouse: All The Glitter, Power and Glory of America’s Richest Media Empire and the Secretive Man Behind It” by Thomas Maier. Set at the height of the magazine era in the 80’s, fashion icon Anna Wintour and media mogul Tina Brown were ruthless in their competition to dominate the publishing world and forever changed the way we consume fashion, news and entertainment.
