After a long hiatus, ABC’s flagship Marvel series, “Agents of SHIELD,” is set to return for its sixth season this summer. ABC has unveiled a brief, WTF-filled first look at the show’s upcoming return, which raises a TON of questions.

The 90-second trailer, which you can check out below, is light on dialogue, but full of weirdness, including things growing out of a dead body, some sort of energy explosion coming out of a tower, spaceships and teleportation and the apparent return of Coulson. Also, Daisy’s blonde now.
Not only will the “Agents of SHIELD” return for a sixth season sometime this summer, but the show has already received an early season 7 renewal.
The show stars Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons and Natalia Cordova-Buckley. Last season’s breakout addition of Jeff Ward has been upgraded to series regular for season 6.
“Agents of SHIELD” has yet to set a premiere date for this summer on ABC.
