Beauty and the Beast makes its return in just a few days and OMFGtv had the chance to screen the season two premiere in advance and below we have included some teasers that will hopefully entice you into tuning in when the show makes its comeback.

TIME AFTER TIME | It’s been three months since the events of the season one finale where Vincent (Jay Ryan) was captured by Muirfield. Since then, Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) has been working around the clock trying to locate him. She’s had many sleepless nights in front of her computer, going through missing persons’ files, and so much more in the hopes of being reunited with her beast. She’s got her best friend Tess (Nina Lisandrello) and her sister Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) sidelined and all her focus and effort has been in to finding Vincent’s latest whereabouts and why. “Vincent is out there somewhere; I know it, I feel it,” Catherine tells JT (Austin Basis). “Muirfield could’ve easily just killed him, but they didn’t. They captured him, which that means they need him for something.” Catherine is on a mission and she wont cease until she gets what she wants. “I am not going to stop until I find him.”

RESURRECTION | One of the big surprises about the season premiere is the return of Gabe Lowan (Sendhil Ramamurthy). When last we saw him, he was being shot down by Muirfield. “Shot down” may be an understatement. Man got shot up, down, and all around, and yet he’s back. We’re not allowed to reveal how he was brought back to life, but we hope that his character gets some sort of redemption, because we would rather see him gone along with the season one finale. Gabe is back and assumes the post at the precinct which was once occupied by Tess’ boyfriend Joe Bishop (Brian White). With Joe losing his job because he was obsessed with finding the killer of his brother, Gabe now stands in his office, much to the dismay of Tess, who will be constantly reminded of her loss of Brian every time she walks into his former office.

BEAST 2.0 | Vincent finally pops up on JT’s tracker, and even though it proves not a match on the facial recognition system (more on that later), Catherine is convinced it is him and shows up at the warehouse where Vincent is being held. There we see the beast meeting Zhao, the man responsible for turning Vincent into a beast. “I know what you’re capable of,” Zhao yells at Vincent as he tries to escape his shackles. But Zhao quickly discovers that the beast he created is not the beast he captured when Vincent easily escapes his restraints. Team Catherine also find out that he’s more than different when they realize that Vincent is hardly affected from JT’s tranqualizer gun. What normally takes one dart to bring Vincent down, took three. Another noticable difference was that the scar Vincent had on his face is now gone, which explains why he didn’t register on the facial recognition system. What did Muirfield do to Vincent? “He’s clearly different. And, frankly, a little scary,” JT tells Catherine.

MEMORY LOSS | When Catherine rescues Vincent, the reunion is not what either of them were hoping for. “Who are you?” he asks her and we are left stunned that his memory had been wiped and VinCat’s history had been erased from his mind. Not one to give up, Catherine tries her best to reinstate his memories of she and him. Unfortunately, her tactics do not work on the newly upgraded beast. “He’s gone,” JT tells Cat. Surely, his memory loss won’t be permanent, so the only question is how long will it take for him to regain his memory? Near the end of the episode, we get a very touching moment between Catherine and Vincent, which I won’t spoil here because I want you all to experience it for yourselves.

Other questions:
– How did Gabe survive that fatal shooting that got him riddled up with bullets?
– What other super abilities does Vincent have now that he’s upgraded?
– Are you happy now that a scar isn’t hindering Vincent’s pretty face?

Don’t miss the season premiere of Beauty and the Beast “Who Am I?” on Monday, October 6, at 9|8c on The CW.
