PAPARAZZI | After news of Alejandro’s (Matt Cadeno) sexuality hit the press, a reporter for a trashy magazine, Celebrity Dirt, tries to get confirmation from Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) and even offers to pay up to $10k. Carmen’s friends are disgusted by the thought, but Carmen considers the proposal. She asks Alejandro how he would feel if the public know about his sexuality and he reassures her that his career will suffer for it. Later, a shirtless Sam who has returned to the area, reunites with his former employer who is also shirtless in the kitchen. Alejandro gives Sam a congratulatory hug for his and Carmen’s future and Carmen spots the same trashy reporter snapping pictures of the two shirtless men. The three of them chase after him, but he makes it out of the property just in time. Alejandro’s team tries to offset the rumors by coming up with a plan to have the singer marry a beautiful woman and Alejandro has someone in mind.
HOPE AND MEDICINE | Remi (Drew Van Acker) decides to head to Africa for ‘Hope and Medicine,’ a program which helps the sick in third-world countries, and he’s asked Valentina (Edy Ganem) to join him. Valentina lets her mother Zoila (Judy Reyes) know about her plans to join him in Africa, but she does not approve of the plan. Zoila sits down with Remi and tells him that he’s ruining her dream and chance to become a fashion designer by taking Valentina with him. She tells Remi to write out a goodbye letter letting Valentina know why he had to leave without saying goodbye.
REUNITED | Spence (Grant Show) proposes to Rosie (Dania Ramirez) and she accepts. Meanwhile, Peri (Mariana Klaveno) decides to do something nice for a change and comes up with a plan to bring Rosie’s son Miguel (Octavio Westwood) to America. Peri tells Spence of her plan and he is a little worried because of all the laws she would be breaking. Rosie is so thankful and feels guilty about she and Spence getting married that she rescinds her decision on getting married and returns the engagement ring. Sure enough, she brings Miguel from Guadalajara using her studio’s private jet. Mother and son are reunited and Peri lets slip that Spence didn’t want this to happen so soon. Upon hearing that, Rosie is not too happy about that.
HITMAN | Marisol (Ana Ortiz) discovers that Remi had a fight with his father Philipe (Stephen Collins) and she starts questioning Taylor Stappord (Brianna Brown) about what her husband Michael (Brett Cullen) does for Philipe. Taylor tells Michael that Marisol has been asking lots of questions and he brings it to Philipe’s attention. After hiring a detective to look into Marisol’s background, they find out that Marisol’s last name is Suarez and that she is the mother of Eddie, the suspect in jail for the murder of Flora Hernandez (Paula Garces). We also learn now that it is Philipe who is responsible for Flora’s death as Michael tells him, “We’ll just say Flora’s death was in self defense!” Philipe takes matters into his own hands and instead of contacting the District Attorney like Michael suggests, he hires a hitman to take out Marisol. The hitman instead mistakes Taylor for Marisol and shoots Mrs. Stappord instead!
