HIT AND RUN |While on her way home, Peri (Maria Klaveno) is on the phone with her agent demanding more money and she drops her phone. As she reaches down, we all can feel what’s coming next. She sits right back up and BOOM hits a jogger off the hill. Peri makes it home and tells Rosie (Dania Ramirez) that the injured man is still there and that she hasn’t called 911. Rosie flees to the scene of the accident and finds the man lying helpless and calls for an ambulance. When she returns home, she is disgusted that Peri left him there to die. Rosie tells Ms. Westmore that here on out, she is only there to help with Spence and their child, and Rosie will no longer do what Peri tells her to do. “I will not allow you to speak to me that way,” Peri tells Rosie. “What are you going to do?” Rosie replies. “Call the cops?”
HOUSE CLEANING | With Odessa (Melinda Page Hamilton) still in the hospital, a lot of the housework has now been transferred onto Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez). When Carmen gets to know Alejandro’s (Matt Cadeno) boyfriend Scott (Peter Porte) a bit more and his love of cleaning, she neglects to tell him that Alejandro wants to end their relationship. Carmen tries to persuade Alejandro to keep dating Scott just so that she can have help in the house, but Alejandro tells her to dump Scott for him. Carmen reluctantly delivers the bad news to Scott after he cleaned up the living room with immaculate perfection and is upset, humiliated, and infuriated. Scott destroys the room leaving a heaping pile of mess and asks Carmen not to clean it up. “I want Alejandro to know what he did to me today.”
LAWYER LIES | Ida Hayes (Maria Howell) stages an impromptu meeting with Remi (Drew Van Acker) and his layer Michael (Brett Cullen) where Remi finds out that Flora (Paula Garces) was pregnant at the time of her murder. Remi later stops by Ida’s office because he feels that his lawyer isn’t being honest with him. Remi tells Ida he’s innocent and she believes him. She plays him a DVD with footage from a conversation between Flora and Michael. Flora tells him that Remi knows who the father is and that they are very close. Ida asks Remi if he knows who they are talking about and Remi flees her office. He knows something, alright!
