It’s the National Treasure: Edge of History finale and things are heating up after last week’s big twist! This time, everything is on the line as Billie gets closer to erasing history and Jess and her father must beat her to the punch. Let’s dive in!
It All Goes to Hell | With Salazar (Armando Riesco) having just murdered Ross (Lyndon Smith), Rafael (Jacob Vargas) tries to convince Billie (Catherine Zeta-Jones) that he killed Billie’s brother, but she’s not biting. They take Rafael and Jess (Lisette Olivera) on a boat through the swamp to find the treasure. To make matters worse, Tasha (Zuri Reed), Oren (Antonio Cipriano), Ethan (Jordan Rodrigues) and Liam (Jake Austin Walker) arrive as soon as they leave, but get caught by Billie’s men, who just outright try to kill them all- fortunately, Ross, barely clinging to life, shoots them and Tasha and Oren drive her to the hospital, while Liam and Ethan head after Jess on a raft.
Upping the Tension | The boat with Jess and Rafael runs aground and Billie confesses to them that they’re planning on destroying the treasure. The group exits the boat and heads onto the land, where they see a coyote statue that sprays a gas onto one of Billie’s men, which makes him hallucinate and shoot most of Billie’s men, until one of them kills him. In the confusion, Jess and Rafael escape and find a statue pointing left, which Billie and Salazar later find. Ross’s phone gets a call from Dr. Hudson (Tommy Savas), and Tasha explains the situation and he walks her through a procedure to stab her chest to help her breathe. Tasha does so with a metal straw and that’s enough to help Ross as the ambulance shows up.

Jess and Rafael find a temple, but are immediately trapped by a falling cage. With them trapped, Rafael muses about how the treasure ruined their lives, since he missed his daughter growing up to hunt for the treasure. Then, Liam and Ethan arrive and use a branch to free them from the cage. Ethan then heads back to the mainland to lead the arriving police to Billie, as the others head into the temple.
The Hunt is On | With one of Billie’s henchmen slowing down after getting shot earlier, Salazar unceremoniously kills her immediately. This is enough to convince Billie that Salazar killed her brother and she kills him in retaliation. She tries to shoot Jess, Rafael and Liam, but they make it into the temple before she can. Inside, they find a floor with several symbols on each tile and each step on a tile triggers a trap. Jess figures out the three tiles that they need to step on to advance and with some acrobatics, they unlock the final room, revealing the treasure!
Unfortunately, Billie makes her way inside and blows up the door to the room. Jess manages to trap Billie in time for Liam to get her gun and point it at her. The explosion traps Rafael under rubble and Jess is heartbroken, but he was only unconscious and wakes up. The police arrive and arrest Billie just as Tasha and Oren see the treasure and celebrate with a kiss. The group takes a selfie with the treasure and some time later, the treasure is on display at a museum with Ross and Hudson in attendance, as Liam arrives with a tape from Sadusky’s house that he found- that has something important on it.
