With WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki already having made huge waves with their Disney+ debuts, Marvel Studios is still plugging along with another powerhouse series on its way.
Marvel has finally revealed the premiere date for Hawkeye, their latest streaming series focusing on Jeremy Renner’s titular founding Avenger. Set to drop on Wednesday, November 24, the series also stars Hailee Steinfeld (“Dickinson”) as Kate Bishop, who is showcased in the show’s first still from Entertainment Weekly.
According to EW, Renner described Bishop as “A 22 year old kid and a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems she brings into his life.”
“Hawkeye” will also see the return of Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, who made a splashy debut earlier this year in “Black Widow.” Without giving anything away for those that haven’t seen the film, Yelena has her own agenda that sets her up for conflict with Clint.
