Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem hit us with a different type of episode this week with the cadets splitting up and going home for a short break. Raelle and Tally go to Raelle’s hometown, while Abigail and Adil go to Abigail’s while her family is trying to marry her off to a suitor. ‘My 3 Dads’ was written by Eli Edelson and directed by Jem Garrard.
The Most Awkward Dinner Ever | The cadets are on break from War College for a few days so Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams) decides to bring Adil (Tony Giroux) home with her since he has nowhere else to go. While at her home she’s met with her 3 fathers and several suitors looking to marry her. Adil is subject to the scrutiny of the other suitors even though he claims to not be interested in what’s going on.
After the dinner Abigail meets with Petra (Catherine Lough Haggquist) and her grandmother Minerva (Liza Huget) and tells them she’s not interested in getting married, she wants the fight the Camarilla. Petra is not happy, but Abigail’s grandmother stops their fighting.
Chippewa Cession | Raelle (Taylor Hickson) brings Tally (Jessica Sutton) back to her home in Chippewa Cession. Tally isn’t impressed by the amount of anti-army graffiti she sees. They visit Raelle’s mother’s best friend Quinn (Sandra Ferens) and tell her how Willa never showed up to speak with Raelle when called upon, which Quinn found very strange.
Tally also asks Quinn some questions to try to figure out more about what Alder (Lyne Renée) is hiding, and she finds out enough that she thinks she’s figured out why Alder had her redacted from everything; Nicte Batan (Arlen Aguayo-Stewart) started the Spree. We see Nicte with Jonas (Albert Nicholas), she uses him as a voodoo doll to burn Alder at Fort Salem from the inside out. If Alder didn’t have her Biddies she would be dead.
Back in the Cession, Raelle decides to bring her protection unit some food when they are attacked by the Camarilla, they want Raelle.

The Vet’s Office | Scylla (Amalia Holm) and Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) still have Tiffany (Ava Marchfelder), but they can’t take her home because her parents are dead. Scylla knocks Anacostia out and takes Tiffany to avoid her growing up in the Army.
She takes the girl to Willa (Diana Pavlovska), and Willa is able to figure out that the Camarilla have other children and they’re being kept in cages in a veterinarian’s office.
They break into the office and find the hidden door leading to the room that held the children, but it’s empty now. Scylla and Willa find the group of people the Camarilla want most, and Raelle is their highest priority.
