Right before a hiatus, “Legacies” gives fans a lot to chew on in its latest episode, “You Remind Me of Someone I Used to Know.” As the Salvatore School and Mystic Falls High battle for flag football supremacy, Hope must save Rafael from a monster that feeds on werewolves. Alaric clashes with Vardemus, who continues to influence Josie.

Rematch | Mystic Falls High’s flag football team sets out to vandalize the Salvatore School, but Dennis is ambushed by a monster. The next morning, Alaric is contacted by Sheriff Mack, who is the mother of Maya and Ethan, who flirts with him, before Alaric and Hope head off to the flag football rematch.
Vardemus orders the team to use their magical powers to their advantage, which Hope and Alaric quickly pick up on, as Dorian finds Dennis in the woods rambling about a hyena like monster that, upon further research, feeds on werewolves.
Happy Hunting | Hope heads off to find Rafael, since she’s the only one who can change him into a human, and sneaks into Landon’s room to get Rafael’s things for a locator spell. She gets caught by Landon, but she convinces him to help her find the monster, outing herself as a witch in doing so.
Meanwhile, Lizzie once again runs into Sebastian, who admits that he is a vampire and Lizzie reminds him of the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen- Caroline, perhaps? Lizzie kisses him and MG arrives, only for him to not see Sebastian at all.
The QB Shuffle | Ethan takes over as team quarterback and Vardemus gives Josie a spell to use on him. When Josie does just that, Ethan’s arm breaks violently, much to Josie’s horror. Even odder, Josie’s nose starts bleeding soon after. Alaric confronts Vardemus about the spell and Vardemus
