The CW’s “Killer Camp”: Why We’re Keeping an Eye on Eleanor & Jacques

The Two Campers We’re Suspicious About

With Feargal blown to pieces and Nurry Lee straight up decapitated, there are just 9 campers left playing for their survival and a cash prize on The CW’s summer whodunnit series Killer Camp.

Coming up on this week’s episode, as the campers recover from the previous night’s shocking murder, they are faced with a mud pit, falling into a freezing lake and razor-sharp axes.

When suspicions arise and accusations fly, bromances will be broken, alliances are forged, and a relationship blossoms. And at dusk, the killer instructs Bruce to claim the next victim.

Before that happens, however, PopWire would like to share our thoughts on who’s on our radar and who are our killer suspects of the week.

ELEANOR, THE DIVA | Based on Killer Camp‘s premiere, it looks like pretty much the entire camp is suspecting Eleanor as being the killer. The campers discussed her reaction to Feargal’s surprising, explosive death, plus her whiny attitude and unwillingness to get in the water. The 23-year-old content executive also managed to survive being one of the first killed off (RIP Nurry Lee), possibly because she is the killer. One thing we did notice, however, is that in the game “I Carried a Watermelon,” in one shot, it appears she is pulling back teammate Carl from trying to make it to the top of the slope. The moment is only visible for a few seconds in the episode. Is this an attempt at sabotage, or are we just reaching?

JACQUES, THE JOKER | In the season opener, Jacques admits that he is not in great physical shape to win physical competitions that test strength, endurance, etc. But he does say that he does “love the view” of his campmates — Warren and Carl in particular (Oh, Jacques! We’re lovin’ it too!). The 24-year-old wine tasting host is also a big, gay teddy bear, and with his humor and personality, all these combined make him extremely likable, so of course no one would suspect him! If he’s the killer, it’s a perfect excuse for him to fake playing the “I’m not strong enough” card. But we’re going to watch closely on how he does with games that don’t break a sweat.

So, campers, what do you think? Are we on the right path, or are we off the map? Let us know who you think is the killer based on the first episode.

Killer Camp airs Thursdays at 8pm on The CW.
