This week on “Agents of SHIELD’s” newest episode, “Toldja,” Mack interrogates Sarge for information on his mission, which Sarge is reluctant to share. Deke discovers what his grandparents are up to, while FitzSimmons run into new complications on an alien planet.
Anything Can Happen | The captive Sarge is brought to SHIELD HQ and everyone is naturally freaked out. Mack tries to get Sarge to spill details on his mission, but Sarge not only won’t share it, he insists that he will takeover Mack’s position. While that’s going on, Jaco, one of Sarge’s men, is locked up in a cell and starts coughing, but he refuses medicine until Sarge is set free. He appears to die, only to come back moments later breathing fire and nearly breaks out of his cell until Daisy arrives to knock him out.

Going Backwards | Deke shamelessly flirts with Daisy as she tries to distance herself from Sarge, but that goes south when Daisy informs Deke of Fitz’s death. Deke angrily confronts Mack for not telling him about this, but Mack snaps back at him for abandoning the team. He convinces Deke to hack into Sarge’s tablet that tracks the shrike.
Meanwhile, Fitz, Simmons and Enoch end up teleported back to the bar on Kitson, only for a drunken idiot to make off with their teleporter. The trio are arrested by “The Breakfast Club” alum Anthony Michael Hall, the owner of the casino, who tries to behead them, but is convinced by a redheaded woman to let them go. The redheaded woman introduces herself as Izel and requests Fitz and Simmons’s help to find artifacts on Earth. They agree, but Enoch stays behind to help his people rebuild.
Shrike Hunting | Deke finds more shrike on Sarge’s tablet and May and Yo-Yo arrest two men who, when they are locked up together on the Zephyr, start to overcharge and explode into crystals. This threatens to destroy the Zephyr, so Mack calls in Sarge for advice, but Sarge will only tell them how to kill the shrike if they let him go. Left with no choice, Mack agrees, and Sarge informs him that cold kills the shrike. May opens the door on the Zephyr, letting in cold air that disintegrates the shrike. Sarge then holds out his cuffed wrists and tells Mack, “Toldja.”
