In one of the busiest episodes of “Cloak & Dagger” thus far, “Two Player” sees Tandy got to extreme lengths to save Tyrone’s life, while Evita prepares to make a sacrifice of her own. Tyrone’s mother goes to Father Delgado for advice.
Keeper of the Crossroads | Tandy calls Evita to use her voodoo stuff to save Ty’s life. When Tandy recounts her story of going into the cloak and meeting someone else who takes different forms, Evita says that it’s the keeper of the crossroads, and also her aunt’s husband. Apparently, the voodoo masters of New Orleans must marry a spirit from the other side? This whole voodoo subplot is really testing my patience.
As Tandy and O’Reilly dive into Ty’s cloak to find him, Ty’s mother goes to see Father Delgado, now in rehab, and offers him a file with evidence gathered from Connors that will exonerate Ty. She says she can’t give it to the police, but a priest can because his source would be protected. Ms. Johnson also tells him the pretty crucial and shocking tidbit that she executed Connors in her own home!

Cloak & Dagger: The Video Game | Enough drama, time for some fun! When Tandy arrives in the dark world, she is told by some weird tattooed guy that she must help Ty finish an arcade game for them both to leave. The game turns out to be an 8-bit version of them beating up various bad guys and they actually are inside the game playing it. Who else totally wants to play this game?
Meanwhile, O’Reilly finds Mayhem in the record store and Mayhem reveals to her Andre’s role in the missing girls. Speaking of Andre, his headaches are getting worse and he tries to give Lia more pain to subdue them, but ends up somehow killing her and dumping her body on the side of the road.
Boss Level | Evita gets a spiritual message from her dead aunt who tells her that it’s her destiny to ascend into the voodoo realm and marry a spirit because doing so will save Ty’s life. Back in the game, Tandy refuses to fight the game’s boss, Andre, and tries to convince Ty to come home. Evita goes through with marrying some random spirit or something and this is enough to free everyone from the cloak, but O’Reilly and Mayhem have swapped places as part of some plan to take down Andre. Evita refuses to speak to Ty, her hands tied by her marriage, and Tandy goes home to find her mom missing.
