Earlier this spring, Freeform announced its sophomore series Siren would would return this summer on Thursday, July 11. But because they “couldn’t wait” until July, the mermaid fantasy drama announced in mid-April that show would now return four weeks earlier on Thursday, June 13!

If Siren returns to the San Diego Comic-Con this July, it would be around the 6-episode mark of Season 2B (Episode 14 of the overall season), which would give the network and studio the perfect time to screen an upcoming episode, tease the season finale, and hopefully, possibly reveal that the show has been renewed for Season 3.
Freeform has released a brand new First Look teaser, which you can check out below, which touts the new premiere date. In the clip, Ben (Alex Roe) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) join Ryn (Eline Powell) as the trio go below the surface for the first time to see where and how the mermaids are living.
Siren Season 2B premieres Thursday, June 13 at 8pm on Freeform.
