Tonight on NBC, fans of the network’s supernatural drama Midnight, Texas will say goodbye after a quick and short two seasons. It was announced recently that the show, based on a series of books by Charlaine Harris, will not be returning for Season 3.
In advance of the final airing, OMFGTV screened the episode, “Yasss Queen!,” and have provided a few non-spoilery teases of what you can expect from the AMAZING, F*CKING CRAZY finale.

GOODBYE, MIDNIGHT | The quaint town of Midnight has been home to and a hot spot for a lot of supernatural creatures and beings. At the opening of the episode, however, Midnight no longer exists. What?!
PUT ON A HAPPY FACE | The horrifying events that took place at the chapel was definitely a traumatic experience for the gang, but for Olivia, she’s got a great, big smile on her face. What’s got the bounty hunter in a happy mood?
ASHES TO ASHES | Patience finds a clever use for Demon Ash. But for what and for whom, we can’t say.
ANGEL IN DISGUISE | Olivia is relieved when reunited with Joe, but what she discovers she never saw coming.
THERE WILL BE BLOOD | Last season, Lemuel used his blood to help save Olivia’s life. He uses this healing power once again, but the one who is on the receiving end of it may surprise you.
“Yasss, Queen!” is a fantastic episode — possibly the series’ best! In addition to a terrific performance by Jaime Ray Newman (Patience), the episode is filled with laughs, tons of action, and BIG, draw-dropping moments and reveals.
It is extremely sad that the show is ending, especially when you see what happens in the last few minutes of the episode. We’re hoping that the series is shopped around to other networks, including NBC Universal’s own Syfy channel.
Midnight, Texas, the Series Finale, airs tonight at 8pm on NBC.
