“Cloak & Dagger” Recap: Donning the Cloak

In “Cloak & Dagger’s” latest, “Ghost Stories,” Tyrone hatches a plan to finally get justice for Billy, but it requires a huge risk on his part. Tandy launches a plan of her own to get justice, but it takes an unexpected turn.

The Theory | Tandy goes to talk to Ivan, who tells her that her father wrote a memo warning about the rig collapsing and Scarborough ignored it. Ivan also tips off Tandy to a safe deposit box that holds all the evidence of the warning. Meanwhile, O’Reilly and her cop “boyfriend” Fuchs finally figure out that Connors is a bad guy and decide to take him down.

Looking Over his Shoulder | Tyrone approaches O’Reilly and Fuchs with a spectacularly stupid plan: Have Tyrone pretend to by Billy’s ghost and make it look like Connors is going insane so he’ll confess to Billy’s death. Well, I can safely say I wouldn’t have come up with that plan! He also shows off his teleportation powers to the duo to prove he can do it.

Tandy swipes Tyrone’s mother’s access card to Roxxon to get into the building and intimidate Scarborough, showing off the evidence she has against him. He offers to buy her out and secure her mother’s financial future if she drops the evidence, but she refuses.

The Memorial Tradition | Tyrone’s ludicrous plan actually works and Fuchs gets Connors’s confession on video and Connors gets arrested. Also, O’Reilly mentions her friend Misty in New York. Hm. Tyrone joins Tandy for her and her mother’s memorial for Tandy’s father, but as they both touch her, they see a memory of Tandy’s dad beating her mom. This troubles Tandy so much that she tells Scarborough that she’s taking the money. O’Reilly also finds Fuchs’s body stuffed in his fridge. It’s not over yet…
