The CW’s Gossip Girl ended its six-season run Monday night and now the network plans to fill that void with its new series, The Carrie Diaries.
The new mid-season entry, Diaries, is based on the prequel to the Sex and the City series and stars AnnaSophia Robb as the titular Carrie Bradshaw.
Now that we are less than a month away from when this Manhattan love story makes its premiere, promotion for the show is now in full swing.
The sneak peek below introduces us to high-school hottie Sebastian Kydd played by Austin Butler (Switched at Birth). Is Sebastian The One Carrie has been looking for looking for or is he just another heartbreaker?
And even though we can’t help but think of Glee’s Chord Overstreet every time we see Butler (they’re like twins!), that doesn’t stop us from swooning. Who doesn’t want to go for a swim and make-out with a shirtless Austin Butler? We’re sold. Are you?
The Carrie Diaries premieres Monday, January 14th, at 8|7c on The CW.
