X-Men’s leap to the small screen has come with a huge title change.
The pilot for the upcoming Matt Nix project, set in the X-Men universe, has revealed that it is now called “Gifted” Additionally, producer Lauren Shuler Donner has tweeted a picture of the cast at the table read.
Notable among the cast is “The Originals” star Joseph Morgan, seated next to Jamie Chung, who is playing Blink on the series. It is unconfirmed if Morgan is guest starring on the series, or is a recurring character, which would mean potentially bad things for the future of “The Originals.”
Also seen in the photo is “Incorporated’s” Sean Teale, who according to the name cards in the photo, is playing “Eclipse”- the same character Morgan is listed as.
“Gifted” also stars Blair Redford, Emma Dumont, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Stephen Moyer and Percy Hynes White. It is expected to air on Fox next fall.
