“Cloak and Dagger” and “Runaways” Confirmed to Shoot Later This Month

Hot off the heels of both series announcing their lead actors, two Marvel television series- Freeform’s “Cloak and Dagger” and Hulu’s “Runaways”- are confirmed to be moving forward very fast.

Both series will begin filming on the same date- February 13, meaning that both series could potentially be ready for a first look at San Diego Comic Con 2017.

“Cloak and Dagger,” starring Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt as the titular characters, has a tentative airdate of Winter 2018 on Freeform, though that could very well change.

“Runaways,” which recently announced its cast of Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okana, Virginia Gardner, Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer and Allegra Acosta, has no confirmed release date for Hulu, though if it features a lower episode count of 13, the possibility of a late 2017/early 2018 release exists.
