GOSSIP GIRL | Marisol (Ana Ortiz) and Taylor Stappord (Brianna Brown) run into Olivia (Valerie Mahaffey) at the grocery store where she reveals to Marisol that Taylor was a prostitute, which was how she met husband Michael (Brett Cullen). Worried that Olivia will spread the news about Taylor’s former profession, Michael decides that he, Taylor, and Marisol will all move to New York — a plan that does not bode well with Marisol, as she needs to stay in Beverly Hills to solve Flora’s (Paula Garcés) murder. Marisol visits Olivia’s home with a devious plan that will keep herself and the Stappord’s in Beverly Hills. She tells Olivia that if she keeps her mouth shut, that Michael won’t have to move across the country and they will be able to rekindle the love they once shared. The plan works, but the meet doesn’t stop there. Olivia dishes out the dirt that Adrian Powell (Tom Irwin) hires prostitutes for his friends and that he was the one to first proposition Taylor. Marisol also finds out that Flora in addition to being the Powell’s maid, was also his prostitute.
HEARTBREAKER | Zoila (Judy Reyes) is upset when she finds out that Genevieve (Susan Lucci) is helping Valentina (Edy Ganem) win the heart of Remi (Drew Van Acker). Zoila tells her employer that she and Valentina will not show up to work until she understands that both Remi and Valentina can’t be together. We learn that the reason why Zoila is against their relationship is because she had a relationship with Genevieve’s brother Henri until he was introduced to his now current wife Cathy, a woman from similar background as Zoila’s. Zoila had her heart broken and has not gotten it over since and fears history will repeat itself with Valentina and Remi. Genevieve feels sorry because she was the one who introduced Henri to Cathy.
CHECK, PLEASE | Rosie’s (Dania Ramirez) immigration lawyer needs to file a few more papers in order to get her son to the states, which will cost hundreds dollars. She asks Peri (Mariana Klaveno) for some money, but is shot down. Spence (Grant Show) finds out that Rosie needs money and gifts her with a check, which makes her quite emotional. She and Spence hug and she feels his erection. She later clarifies with him that the money was a gift and that he isn’t expecting anything in return. When she confronts him about his erection when they both hugged, he is embarrassed. “God has been very good to you,” she tells him about the size of his junk. “It was never my intention for you to know how I feel about you,” Spence tells her, which brings her to the realization that he has feelings for her. *swoon*
LOL
• Marisol and Taylor’s run-in with Olivia at the grocery store in the opening scene was very funny. Here Olivia is speaking negatively about Taylor with such a sweet face and great lines such as: “I don’t apologize to whores.” And Valerie Mahaffey delivery when her character said, “Oh, that was a secret? Oops!” That line followed by a smile, was just perfection.
OMG
• Genevieve goes looking for Zoila in a part of town that she avoids. She finds a group of men and asks them if they’ve seen her. “I’m looking for my friend Zoila Diaz,” she tells them. “She lives on this block, but I can’t remember which house. Do you know her? She’s Latino.”
• We also love the moment when Rosie feels Spence’s erection when they hug. The shock and surprise on her face says it all.
OMFG
• Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) gets a chance to meet with a highly sought-after music producer and tells him that she’ll do anything to get into the business. Too bad for her, the grubby producer takes that promise to a whole new level and invites her over to his place for sex. Sam (Wolé Parks) is disappointed in her when she agrees to go through with it.
