Top Five Characters “Once Upon a Time” Hasn’t Adapted (So Far)

Once Upon a Time” has brought to life countless story book characters, fought evil villains, and journeyed over magical worlds over the last five seasons making every episode is an eventful one. That being said, there are certain characters that have not appeared during the series run. Here’s a countdown of the top five so far.

#5: “The Black Cauldron” (1985) | While this film might have been a box office bomb, Disney has re-acquired their rights The Chronicles of Prydain, and a film is still in its early stages of production. Taran, Eilonwy and the Horned King would be a great addition to Once Upon a Time.

#4: “Baba Yaga” | A distinctive figure in Slavic folktale known for appearing the 1999 film “Bartok the Magnificent” is a eccentric woman known to either help or hinder those who cross her. Sounds like she’ll get along with someone like Rumplestiltskin.

#3: “Thumbelina” (1994) | We know so little about fairies in the world of Once Upon a Time, the addition of Thumbelina and Tom Thumb would make it a fun twist.

#2: “The Princess and the Frog” (2009) | One of the newer Disney films, an adaptation of The Princess and the Frog on Once Upon a Time would be a welcomed thing. We have fallen in love with Tiana and Naveen. Dr. Facilier would make an awesome villain who reminds me of a certain someone who also like to make deals.

#1: “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (1996) | Fans of Once Upon a Time have identified Esmeralda among those in a crowd in the market place of the Land of Untold Stories during the season 5 finale. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have Esmeralda and Hugo come to Storybrooke? And have the heroes face Judge Frollo!?
