Scream Queens Gets Sweet with Candy.
Just like Grandfathered‘s John Stamos, Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life‘s James Earl is staying put with FOX and is joining the cast of Scream Queens in a series regular role, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Earl, whose previous television credits include TBS’ Ground Floor and Freeform’s Young & Hungry, will star as a candy striper in the anthology series.
The Queens gig will be the second time James has worked with the Scream team — Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan — where he had a recurring role on their musical comedy Glee.
In addition to Stamos, Earl is also joined by Taylor Lautner, along with returning cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michelle, Abigail Breslin and Emma Roberts.
Season Two of Scream Queens graduates from the college campus and into an all-new location, as a terrifyingly funny mystery will begin once again.
Set in a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation, a series of tragic events plagues the institution.
Scream Queens season 2 premieres Tuesday, September 20, on FOX.
