Sometimes it’s a noise; sometimes it’s something you see out of the corner of your eyes; sometimes it’s just a feeling. It’s the sense you get when you just know you are not alone. So what do you do? What do you say?

And that’s exactly what a few of the characters in the new promo for MTV’s highly anticipated freshman series, Scream, offers — young, beautiful people asking the one question they might not want to get an answer to.
The video below also gives viewers a first look at the new mask the killer will be using while on his murder spree, as well as a look at the first on-screen kill, courtesy of Bella Thorne.
After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens – with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart – become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who’s out for blood.
