Scylla & Anacostia Form an Unlikely Alliance in “Motherland: Fort Salem” Season 2 Trailer

We’re in this together, right?

Scylla (Amalia Holm) and Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) are unlikely allies in the new trailer for Freeform’s supernatural series Motherland: Fort Salem, which you can check out below.

When we last saw the two, the soldier was releasing the Spree member from captivity, telling her to keep holding on to the good that she has in her. In order to make it look like Anacostia didn’t just free Scylla, they had to make it look like she had escaped. Scylla left the facility disguised as her captor and showed up at a Spree safehouse. Little did she know that Anacostia had followed her there.

In the Motherland: Fort Salem trailer, titled “An Unlikely Alliance,” Raelle (Taylor Hickson) confronts her superior about Scylla’s escape. “Why would I know anything about that?” Anacostia replies. Elsewhere in the trailer, Anacostia tells Scylla, “Look, I want in on what you’re doing.”

These snippets from the trailer could be for the upcoming season’s second episode, titled “Abomination,” airing June 29. Per the official episode synopsis: “Anacostia and Scylla find themselves unlikely partners in a dangerous mission.”

Be sure to check out the Season 2 premiere of Motherland: Fort Salem Tuesday, June 22 at 10pm on Freeform.
