In the newest episode of The 100 we meet the people of Sanctum, Bellamy and Octavia are still at odds with each other, and we meet another group of humans on Alpha. ‘The Children of Gabriel’ was written by Drew Lindo and directed by Dean White.
Russell | The episode opens with our friends on the beach of Sanctum. Murphy (Richard Harmon) isn’t doing so hot, so when the people who live there surround them they ask for their help. Lucky for them, they receive it. Their healer uses a native snake to suck the poison from Murphy, whose heart has stopped by this time. It works, and since he’s saved the leader of the group has them imprisoned.

Clarke (Eliza Taylor) has to use her charm to convince Russell (JR Bourne) and his wife Simone (Tattiawna Jones) to let her and her people stay. Unfortunately, Jordan (Shannon Kook) met a girl he likes and tells her the stories he grew up hearing about his people, including the ones that don’t paint them in the best light. These stories get back to Russell and Simone and they decide Clarke and her people cannot stay there, they bring the possibility of violence and Russell will not have that at the sanctum.
We also learn how Russell, Simone, and the other families known as “the primes” came to rule Sanctum. They are nightbloods and descendants of the original families that landed on Alpha. Now they rule Sanctum.
The Children of Gabriel | While Clarke is trying to schmooze Russell, Bellamy (Bob Morley), Echo (Tasya Teles), and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) head to their small ship to move it into Sanctum before it gets attacked. Before they get there, Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic), Gaia (Tati Gabrielle), and Madi (Lola Flannery) get attacked by another group of humans who go by The Children of Gabriel.
When Bellamy, Echo, and O finally arrive The Children of Gabriel have taken their guns and are getting ready to leave. But before they could get far, Octavia attacks, killing them all. Bellamy is so upset about the pointless killing that he keeps his sister off the ship and tells her she’s on her own to survive.
Kidnapped | Back at Sanctum, members of The Children of Gabriel have broken in to kidnap 2 Prime members, with the intention of killing them. But thanks to Clarke’s quick action, only one gets kidnapped. Because of her actions, Russell changes his mind and decides to let her people stay.
Other Important Moments:
- Murphy is certain he went to Hell when his heart stopped, which sent him into an alcohol induced spiral. The question now is, will he accept that as his fate or will he try to better himself to change it?
- Jordan got his first kiss! He may have spilled all their secrets, but you have to cut him a little slack being as this is his first time around a girl his age.
- Russell and his people are NOT fans of Diyoza and kick her out, even though she’s 6 months pregnant. Will her and O team up to survive?
The 100 airs Tuesday nights at 9pm on The CW.
